I support our growth by facilitating the design, product selection and implementation of financial plans. Given the size and scope of our firm, I see all types of cases, and this volume gives me knowledge to pass on to other advisors. Before an advisor meets with a client, I’m their “go to” resource, helping them think through every possible scenario so they can answer any question that a client might pose. Through research, discussion and role-play, we work together to ensure the advisor is thoroughly prepared for even the most complex client meeting.
Being able to access IFP’s deep bench institutional knowledge is, to me, one of the real advantages afforded a firm when it partners with us. I travel extensively to meet with clients, advisors and professional partners but also regularly use video conferencing to condense the time for working the case. We are keenly aware that time kills cases, and we strive to be responsive to advisor needs.
Our success means that I’m brought into major client cases. I recently worked on an estate equalization case where a business owner passed away suddenly. One sibling was directly involved in the business and two other siblings had minor roles. Along with my team of knowledgeable case design specialists, we could handle the intricacies of the case.
My professional background includes being one of the original members of IFP that built the company from the ground up, starting when the company included just nine advisors in the 1990s.
Rounding out my life takes me to the great outdoors. I have traveled from Costa Rica to the South of France to surf, and when I’m home in Kennebunkport, Maine, I enjoy running and playing hockey.
