I support our growth by showing our professional partners how to identify opportunities with their clients and how to standardize operational processes. Through reporting, communication and client segmentation, I teach them to refer business, make introductions and identify opportunities that exist in their firms. I role-play and teach them how to pivot from a casual conversation to a discussion of the client’s individual needs.
Our success regularly provides me with opportunities to help advisors grow their business. I recently taught a CPA how to use the right language when speaking with clients about their financial goals. He was so excited to learn this new dialogue and believes his referrals will grow tenfold. He’s started thinking about succession planning, which is another critical way that IFP helps advisors solve a broad range of practice management issues.
My professional background includes working in logistics, where I ran operations, sales, service and collections. This past experience gives me the ability to look at the big picture and then work with individuals to create efficient operations. I opened overseas operations for EMC2, and I developed structures and processes for sales and service that enabled them to identify opportunities.
Rounding out my life takes me to the golf course. I am a major golf enthusiast and a +2 golfer. I was a member of the 1993 Division 2 NCAA National Championship Golf Team, an all-American Golfer.
